Buy Packwood Prerolls, The first time I wrote about pre-rolled joints, I labeled them the hot dogs of the cannabis industry: “Cheap to make, easy to consume and extremely convenient – but do you really want to know what’s inside?” Most of the time, you don’t.
There’s a reason dispensaries will sell you pre-rolled joints for a penny on your first visit: because they’re full of crap. Even some of my favorite pot shops that are known for selling Denver’s best flower routinely pack their pre-rolls with leafy trim or powderized plant material, both of which are hard on the throat. A few will be honest about what’s inside and charge only $5 or $6. For the most part, though, they’re $10 sticks of shit. Buy a dispensary’s pre-roll at your own risk. Buy Packwood Prerolls
The red-headed stranger has set the bar high, selling strain-specific, one-gram cones for around $12 and even listing profiles of its growers on its website (my Grape Ape joint came from Sundance Gardens). consistently choice. Would I rather buy a gram and roll one myself? Yes, but this is still my top recommendation if you’re too lazy or don’t know how to roll
Strain Name: Pure Kush Grade: A Type: Indica dom, Hybrid b85/15. One of the Strongest kushes I have used. Tested at 25.2% thc, 1.03% CBD Looks: dark green tight christmas tree nuggs With dark orange pistols and lots of sticky trichromes Smell: deep master kush like. Piney forest, with a oak,and earth lingering overtones Taste: intense oak throat burning kush, with a lot Of lung expantion, lets you know what your in for Effects: very Vivid and deep body stone. Slight euphoric mind high And a little energetic and creativity, but this is a strain for relaxing, pain relief and stress,a little goes a long way Potency: 95/100 highly recommended for a hard hitting Indy that Will be sure to bring out the kid in you! Good Strain For: any pain related problems, sleep, depression and anxiety.
Look – Tight light green nuggets with a good covering of crystals and orange hair patches here and there
Smell – When I first opened the container the lemon aroma hit me immediately. It isn’t like a Train wreck lemon pledge/pinesol smell, it has a more distinct clean citrus lemon fragrance to it, with earthy kush undertones.
Taste – I’m used to kush that has an earthiness on the exhale. Lemon Kush marijuana is the complete opposite. It had a strong earthy taste on the inhale that seemed like it was going to expand a lot, but on the exhale it was a smooth clean citrus taste.
It will still make you cough, but not as bad as you think it will when you first inhale Effects – Lemon Kush weed definitely leans towards the Indica side, but it has a strong cerebral effect too. In social situations you will be relaxed yet also still alert and able to function. If you smoke it before bedtime, it will most surely help you get some Zzzzz’s. This is a very nice Indica leaning hybrid that gives you the best of both.
With so many different types of haze put together it is no wonder why Chocolope is known to predominantly affect the head with a tranquil mind-warp. It is a stable Sativa master-piece that is easy to grow, produces well, and hits noticeably smooth.
It’s important to note that this strain doesn’t actually have that strong of a chocolate stench. It is much more of a sweet grapefruit aroma with only slight undertones of chocolate.
This makes sense, considering that the Chocolate Thai strain doesn’t have the most obvious chocolate aroma either.
It seemed to calm the nerves instantly, while providing a decent amount of uplifting energy. It quickly became one of our favorite Sativa strains to medicate with before a long day of work. It tends to make the day more enjoyable.
The Chocolope strain may benefit those suffering from depression, chronic stress, fatigue and more.
Look – This strain looked way more like Sour Diesel than Strawberry Cough. Darker green spear tip shaped buds with peach colored pistils, the trichome coverage gives it a grey looking color under certain lighting. This bud isn’t too compact, not really airy though.
Smell – I didn’t really notice a Strawberry smell, this particular phenotype leans heavily towards Sour Diesel and smells just like diesel fuel or a gas station with earthy kush undertones.
Taste – Same as the smell, very fuely with a great fuel/kushy earth aftertaste. This smoke is nice and thick on the inhale/exhale and the Strawberry Cough comes through with nice expansion in the lungs.
Effects – Strawberry Diesel is a pretty heady marijuana and it also gives a nice body relaxation. Smoke a little of it during the day to receive a lighter head effect, then smoke more at night to help you sleep. I also noticed an onset of munchies. This is a very good all around marijuana strain.
Medical Uses – Anxiety, depression, stress, muscle relaxation, pain relief, appetite, sleep aid
Sour Diesel Marijuana Strain Genetics – 91 Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk/NL (60% Indica : 40% Sativa)
Flowering Time – 10 Weeks
Yield – 450-550g/m2
Look – Lime green buds covered with trichomes and light orange hairs.
Smell – There are only two words to describe the way this marijuana strain smells. Sour Fuel.
Taste – Nice and sour on the inhale, and a nice fuely exhale that stays on the tongue long after smoking.
Effects – Even though this is an Indica dominant strain, it is very cerebral, with a nice calming, relaxing effect.
Medical Uses – Mood enhancement, stress, muscle relaxant
Additional Strain Info
The Sour Diesel is a good yielding, stretchy strain that produces light green, frosty, sour flowers that have a pinkish color when finishing. The Sour Diesel is best if you let it go the full 10 weeks and the taste lingers in your mouth well after the exhale. It is recommended to pinch and bend the tops as she grows because of the stretch, this will also improve yields. If height is an issue, you can still take advantage of this strains stretch in the first 3 weeks by putting your rooted clones directly into flower for a 3-4 foot finish or 1-1.3 meter finish. The Sour D. is great for the beginner or the experienced grower because she is not too nutrient sensitive and can be worked to perfection! A favorite among favorite and well documented you can now add Sour Diesel to your garden and see what all the fuss is about. 2nd Hash HT Cannabis Cup 2010
Seeing as both of its parents are on the heavier end of the spectrum, I decided to wait until the evening before reviewng the White OG strain. I soon came to realize that this was a pretty smart decision on my part.
As far as its aroma/taste is concerned, this batch of the White OG strain was a near-perfect mix between its parent strains. Theterpene profile was reminiscent of a piney OG Kush with musty undertones (presumably from the White Widow influence).
I began to feel my anxiety taper off after just a few minutes of medicating with this strain. I found this to be quite useful in the middle of the day, although I probably wouldn’t consider it to be the best choice for morning medicating – larger doses seemed to bring about a couchlock effect that made it a battle to get up from my seat at times.
Overall, I would say that the White OG strain is a great option for stress and pain relief later in the day. It may also be beneficial for patients who suffer from PTSD, OCD, lupus-related pain, depression, and more.
Purple Kush Feminized seeds where engineered in California in the late nineties as a crossing between Purple Afghan and Hindu Kush. Purple Kush is a 100% indica strain which results in a short and dense marijuana plant with compact but heavy buds. The beautiful purple leaves full of resin makes is a wonderful marijuana plant to grow. A good strain to grow outdoor in, especially in Mediterranean climates.
Purple Kush Feminized smell a bit dank, just like other Kush strains do. While smoking Purple Kush you will get into a state of total relaxation, great for people with sleep deprivation to get a good night rest.
As the story goes, the NYC Diesel strain originates from a bagseed that Soma came across while living in New York. Many people will say that the seed was a phenotype of Sour Diesel, but it’s possible that it was actually the original Diesel strain or another strain with a similar terpene profile.
With that being said, Soma is rumored to have crossed this bagseed with Shantibaba‘s popular Afghani X Hawaiian male plant.
The NYC Diesel strain has been the go-to morning strain for me the past few days. This batch smells just like the Sour Diesel strain, but with more of a sugary sweetness to it. The vapor is smooth, and leaves a pungent gassy after-taste that is similar to that of cookies.
I found the NYC Diesel strain to produce an energetic high that would be great for exploring a city or getting active in any way. It seems to speed up the brain and make it race with ideas, making it the perfect choice for artists looking to get their creative juices flowing.
After medicating with the NYC Diesel, I would expect it to be a solid choice for patients in need of some serious stress relief. This strain can be stoney – it may be best reserved for weekends or vacations when you don’t have much physical work to do.
Looks: Many Different shades of Bright Green, dense, small, circular, popcorn sized nugs, many orange hairs, Huge crystals.
Smell: Very Very Distinct. Extremely Floral (A hint of Rose), Pungent (Almost burns my nostrils). Nothing else like it.
Taste: Extremely Smooth. Thick, milky white smoke.
Effects: Tolerance is not a factor. True California OG Kush will have anyone Blown. As a resident of CA, I’ve smoked the finest. But OG Kush from the lovely city of Los Angeles is THE BEST shit I’ve ever chiefed.
Potency: 10/10 Depending on how much you smoke of regular shit, cut that amount in half, then again, that is how much OG you should smoke if you don’t want to be straight trippin’ out.
Common sense told me that the Purple Crack strain was most likely the result of crossing the ever-popularGreen Crack strain with some variation of Granddaddy Purple. However, I quickly learned that the Purple Crack strain is actually a cross of Green Crack and the Juicy Fruit strain (aka Fruity Juice).
Knowing this, I was excited to see how these two classic Sativa-dominant hybrids would come together. The racy effects traditionally associated with the Green Crack strain are precisely what I look for when medicating in the morning. Combining these effects with the sweet flavor of the Juicy Fruit strain created some significantly high expectations in my mind.
As is often the case when smoking or vaporizing cannabis, the effects of the Purple Crack strain started to present themselves almost instantly.
I did experience a slight energy boost, but it was much more mellow than the fast-paced experience that I’ve come to expect when medicating with the Green Crack strain. The effects were far more consistent with my expectations of the Juicy Fruit strain, which is often more of a cerebral experience that helps spark my imagination.
Overall, I would say the Purple Crack strain is good option for patients looking to relieve stress and depressionduring the day. It may also be beneficial for patients who suffer from PTSD, OCD, neuropathic pain, social anxiety and more.
